I painted this artwork right before moving to the US from Russia. Now that I look at it I see why I made it the way it is. The white horse meant that I’ll have to start my life from the white blank page, animals’ movement forward meant that this move is a huge step forward for me and my career. Lastly, the sunlight and palm trees are what I’ve been dreaming of all my life. It’s so interesting how every painting reflects my life without me even realizing it.
